I've spent the better part of the last 2 days taking profits ahead of today's Fed decision.

For months I have been forecasting that the big Chicago organizer type payoff will be closer to the November election, and am consequently viewing today's over - saturated Fed drama as merely foreplay.

However, like in high stakes poker, we must play the cards we're dealt, so here goes;

I see the odds at 50/50 the Fed does anything today.

IF the Fed does something, I strongly believe it will be no more than extend their ineffective Operation Twist, which has given the US its highest unemployment in many decades, banks more money at 0 interest so they can gamble, though not lend, and not much else.

As to market reaction, I see think the recent Market run up has been anticipating some kind of Fed move and so this will most likely be a "Buy the Rumor, sell the news" event at best. No plummet, but no 1000 point upside burst either.

I thought the release was slick and the new Surface appeared very well done.

I recently purchased my first $AAPL product ever, an iPad3, and am happy with it.

Following the Surface press conference, there was the usual negative flood of boringly predictable mindless attacks by the small penis and low IQ crowd who would also undoubtedly attack $MSFT if it gave away a cure for cancer.

Microsoft founder, the great Bill Gates, is striving to do just that with the money he earned from creating and building Microsoft. He has already tackled malaria globally and polio, and is working on alleviating far more human suffering on a global never before seen in history scale.

I think the new Surface tablet was very slick and has a number of features I wish the iPad3 lacks; the integrated kickstand and a clickable keyboard built into its cover are a big improvement over the iPad3 as is its ability to run Windows 8.

The Surface also has a cool new feature of a pen which allows users to draw, edit typed input, etc and attaches to the Surface magnetically, which was a polished manner to include this neat tool, though I am not sure I would ever use it, I suspect many others might.

My, uh, prowess, my income, muscles and IQ are all large enough for me to make logical statements about products; the iPad3 is nice looking, has a gorgeous display, great battery life and is simple to use which made it far more pleasant for me to do most simple/minor but frequent tasks than the Sony notebook I had previously used, though it lacked the ability to run many of the Windows programs I need to effectively run my successful businesses and investments.

I hope MSFT will be logicial/intelligent enough to have an app store, but a blaring negative I have found in the Apple ecosystem which I have never yet seen mentioned anywhere is that far too many Apps in the Apple ecosystem are no more than a converted website and less functional than a decent website and yet I am forced to use them and clutter the screen of my iPad. It seems similar to having to have a Windows desktop that required me to litter it with bookmarks for websites and then to wait for each to open, which would be far slower and uglier than the present system and an area in which Apple desperately needs to work on to improve its constantly praised design.

I'm pretty happy with my iPad3, but now you have an objective review of the tablet arena, which changed in a big way last night.

So there you have it; an actual intelligent objective review of the new Surface. I will keep my iPad3, but probably also buy a Surface when it is released.

I will keep trading $AAPL and making good sums of money in its stock. I will continue to hold and to a lesser extent, keep trading $MSFT stock profitably.

Happy tablet shopping and Happy Trading to you,

You should consider trying it sometime, this silly buying of dividend stocks I have been doing for 6 or 8 months now. Nice to see money coming in from them. Of course, only 7 months later and the insightful financial media re now proclaiming why you should be interested in buying high quality dividend stocks.

Which, for them and their 10,000 person staffs, isn't bad to be less than a year behind Pijou and I.

After the Greek elections and "All is Well" in Asian markets last night I find myself stumped selecting an outfit for the day; Not sure if I should go with my "All is Well" pants and "World is Ending" shirt or vice-versa?

This entire era is of course utter nonsense, socialism has failed in the Europe Bubble and is racing the US toward a fiscal cliff with $15 Trillion in debt and counting. Turns out having other people work to pay for those who don't work winds up adhering to my her Margaret Thatcher's quote "Socialism works until you run out of other people's money."

Anyhow, let's go make some money in this madness.

I will be posting cool news articles and thoughts over on my Rebel Mouse page at
Thanks for the feedback. They are an amazingly responsive new company and responding to requests mindblowingly fast.

Hope you had a great week and are ready to go make some money today ahead of the non-event this weekend being breathlessly foisted on duped public about earth shattering implications of Greece staying or leaving the EU. Means next to nothing, they're miniscule, make nothing, and brought themselves to this conclusion through their laziness and dismal failure to remember to pay their taxes whilst never forgetting to retire at age 45.

Was fun to wake up and see some rabbits in my lawn (have a running joke with friends that after all my years in the city, I recently successfully managed to grow an entire 8 feet of grass on a patch of dirt here at my new home in CT, thus making me the self-proclaimed "King of Lawn.")

Was also fun to watch Pijou's rapt attention on them.

Fun chatting this morning with friends on StockTwits, which btw, has an incredibly sleek and polished new design with a number of forward thinking new features incorporated. It's free, and you are missing the future of finance if you're not already on it.

Was also fun to wake up and see the $FB put options I sold have expired overnight and 100% of the premium is now sitting credited in my account this morning after being the newest, least well-known manager in the WSJ article on FaceBook and the only one who had a positive outlook for them. WSJ: Investors bet on FaceBook fall

After seeing it mentioned by the awesome Fred Wilson I just signed up for the waiting list for a really cool new service called RebelMouse that allows you to pull all your various media: tweets, Facebook posts, photos, tumblr, pinterest, youtube videos, etc onto a single page of yours.
